FRP tank trailers may handle a wide variety of products. Compatible products depend on the corrosion barrier of your specific trailer. Please consult with Poly-Coat systems regarding specific capabilities.
According to the terms of SP-12516 a hydrostatic test is required every year. SP-15552 trailers require a hydrostatic test every 5 years. All other inspections are the same as any other DOT 412 trailer.
Any DOT registered inspector may do the inspections. When additional guidance is required for the corrosion barrier inspection please contact Poly-Coat Systems.
All SP-12516 and SP-15552 trailers are rated for full vacuum.
If repairs are necessary, please contact Poly-Coat Systems to coordinate with a local service.
You may deliver to Canada under a DOT special permit. Canadian domestic shipments are subject to Canadian regulations. Please consult a local expert when operating Poly-Coat Systems trailers in other countries.
